These products could be used as a form of dispersion in solvent-free or solvent- containing special printing lacquers and varnishes. It could be applicable in flexo, offset, screen and other printing techniques.
In normal daylight conditions, LUWY4 powder is off-white on paper while on exposure to UV-A light warm yellow fluorescence becomes visible. It is qualified for banknote printing and could be used on different substrates (like plastic or paper) with good light fastness. Wetting the dry pigment with 5% of Isopropanol or any organic solvents might help aqueous dispersion.
