LUWSC2
LUWSC2 is a speciality water soluble security dye with an easy to implement fluorescent effect, for use in the printing ink and lacquer industry. In normal daylight conditions and under UV-A light, the 1% water solution of LUWSC2 is virtually invisible on paper. However, on exposure to UV-C light the greenish-yellow fluorescence intensity becomes visible. LUWSC2 powder is thus a highly effective special additive for coding and marking purposes (e.g. usage in security printing). Possible application fields are water-based inkjet and usage in security fiber production.
