Water-soluble UV fluorescent dyes

Luminochem leads the way forward for printing in the digital age. Facing head-on the challenge to make the move away from solvent based inks, we have developed an advanced generation of proprietary water based fluorescent dyes for use even in inkjet technology. These dyes are available in our usual array of distinct colors and they have the advantage of offering customers the opportunity to make their inks absolutely solvent-free, thus environmentally friendly. Our dyes are excited by UV‑A and UV‑C light with great emission intensity, whilst being invisible under ambient light. These dyes have good solubility in water and in water-glycol mixtures too. They are applicable for other water based technologies such as dyeing of fibres.
